Men's Ministry

The Men’s Ministry at Potomac Baptist Church is committed to bringing glory to God by equipping and encouraging each other for servant-leadership in our homes, church, workplace, and community, with the goal of becoming more like Christ. We pursue this through Bible studies, accountability and discipleship groups, retreats, fellowship, and spiritual service.

God has given us great responsibilities with our families, our church, and our community. Between the deadlines and bottom lines, all of us are trying to find the time to grow as Christians. We strive to build up one another through a relationship with Jesus Christ. We encourage, disciple, and mentor each other to serve Christ, our families, our church, and our community.

Our vision for our ministry is to enable our men to:
• Utilize their spiritual gifts
• Exercise their spiritual leadership
• Engage in church service
• Network with each other for personal accountability
• Grow in spiritual maturity

Our ministry offers many opportunities for fellowship, spiritual growth, and outreach:
• Bible Study Wednesday evenings from 7:00 – 8:15 pm
• Prayer meeting Saturdays from 6:30 – 7:30 am
• Monthly events such as breakfasts, dinners, sports-related gatherings, comedy nights
• Fall retreat
• Summer minor league baseball game (Frederick Keys)
• Woodworkers Bible Study
• Accountability/small groups
