Sunday School Ministry

The purpose of our Sunday School ministry is to help bring children, youth and adults into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. It facilitates spiritual growth and preparation to serve Christ. Our Sunday School ministry integrates meaningful real life insights with the unchangeable Word of God.

Realizing that well-trained, well-resourced teachers and workers are vital to a good Christian education program, the church encourages and organizes participation of its teachers and staff each year in the Greater Washington Christian Education Convention. Teachers and youth/children's workers attend workshops to learn the latest in educational techniques, and also obtain the latest in curriculum and resources to enrich the Sunday School program.
