Youth Ministry

The purpose of the PBC Student Ministry is to present the Gospel to students in a personal and culturally relevant way, to encourage them to know, love and obey the Lord, to seek Him in His Word and to live their faith by being led by the Holy Spirit.

Students will enter in and grow in an intimate relationship with Jesus. They will serve Him, be His witnesses and bring glory to God. The following are areas of student ministry we focus on to help students grow in a close relationship with the Lord:

* Bible Study (emphasizing personal devotions and obedience to God, parents and other authority)
* Prayer (Personal and Corporate)
* Discipleship (Accountability to God and the body)
* Praise & Worship
* Evangelism
* Fellowship (Inreach and Outreach)
* Service (Church & Community)
* Encouragement
* Unity in the body

EDIFY:
We will encourage them through fellowship, teaching them to understand that their identity is in Christ so that they will be transformed by the Spirit and not be conformed to this world. (Rom 12:1-2)

EXALT:
We are committed to training and leading students to praise and worship God in spirit and in truth so that He receives glory. (John 4:24)

EQUIP:
As students grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord, they will learn to experience Him in daily life, take a stand against the forces of evil, putting on the full armor of God, and obey Him so He can fulfill His purposes in their lives. (Eph 6:10-20)

EVANGELIZE:
We will encourage students to be salt and light to those around them, living a holy lifestyle and sharing the Gospel to win souls for Christ. (Mt 5:14-16)
