Music & Choir

Music is a very important part of worship and the body life of Potomac Baptist Church.

The PBC Worship Choir is a group of men and women who see their participation in the choir as a ministry to God and His people. The role of the choir is to prepare the hearts of the congregation in the traditional service and provide an atmosphere that draws the people into worship. This is attained through uplifting songs of varying styles from praise & worship arrangements to classic & traditional anthems. The choir is open to all who have a love for praising and serving the Lord through the ministry of song.

The Praise and Worship Team is a dedicated band of musicians who have a weekly rehearsal in an effort to produce music which honors the Lord and appeals to the community it serves. Current worship selections are the core of the music the team provides for the contemporary service. The worship team's heartfelt desire and prayer is to create a meaningful worship experience for everyone who attends the contemporary service and to enable you to draw closer to God as you prepare your heart to receive His word each week.

Instrumentalists have opportunities to play in small ensembles, as accompanists to the choir, or as soloists.
